I am the chair of the Rapid Diagnostics and Biomarker Working group of the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) the secretary for the Bone and Joint infection working group. I have published on Infection Control, Antibiotic Stewardship, Bone and Joint infections & Sepsis.
I am associate editor for The Journal of Bone and Joint Infection (JBJI) and The Journal of Orthopaedic Research(JOR) and edited the 2019 infection issue of surgery.
Chief Investigator for the IDEAL+ trial, IDEntifying pAtients with suspicion of infection in the ED who have Low disease severity using Midregional Proadrenomedullin (MR-proADM).
